There are many driving schools in the area and they offer cheap driving lessons prices this depends of instructor qualification. Smart School of Motoring (SSM) only employs fully qualified driving instructors with long driving experience. Our prices are affordable for the high quality driving lessons. So we do offer cheap driving lessons but not cheap quality.

We offer both automatic driving lessons and manual driving lessons. Students who want to do automatic driving lessons want to pass the test very quickly without worrying about clutch and gear and feel more confident driving an automatic car. Sometimes you can fine other driving schools in the area offer automatic driving lessons at higher cost but our school offers both automatic and manual lessons at the same price. The downside of taking automatic driving lessons and passing a driving test in automatic car is that your driving licence is only for automatic cars. However, if you learn to drive in a manual car, once you are confident with clutch and gear, you can take your test with a manual car and you will be able to drive both manual and automatic cars. Learning to drive in a manual car might take slightly longer that in an automatic car.

The lessons can be 1 hour or 2 hours although we strongly recommend 2 hour sessions as you can make better progress and learn to drive fast.

Then you are taught how to recognise and negotiate different junctions safely.
